Meet the team
President & Owner
Jon began his career in the pest management industry in the late 1980s. He started one of the first urban wildlife management companies, Mac & Quack's Urban Wildlife Control in Boston, MA. It was at this time that he realized that there was a real need for nuisance wildlife control in both residential homes and commercial establishments in urban settings.
In 1990, Jon honed is wildlife management skills while working at Orkin Pest Control in Boston as a service manager. At Orkin, he was responsible for a multi-million dollar pest control service department that included human resources, customer service, and managing ten pest control technicians and their routes.
After the birth of Jon and Linda's first daughter, they relocated to Vermont and established PestPro. When he's not taking care of his clients' pest management needs, Jon can be found fishing, hunting, playing pickleball, barbecuing, and spending time with his family.
Vice President & Co-Owner
Armed with a culinary degree, Linda spent the majority of her time as a professional and personal chef around the country. After meeting Jon in the restaurant industry and relocating to the Northeast; Jon and Linda chose Vermont to start a business and founded PestPro together.
Having built PestPro from the ground up, Linda now spends her time playing pickleball, traveling, and spending as much time with her three daughters as she can.
Kristin has lived in South Hero since 1992 with her family. She spent most of those years raising her 4 sons. When she's not talking bugs she enjoys spending time with her family, planting flowers, fostering kitties, hot pilates, and traveling the roads of Vermont with Christopher.
Customer service is a priority for her and she loves helping people and problem solving. Feel free to call the office and talk to her about your pest issues, she will be happy to answer your questions and concerns.
Cynthia joined PestPro in the spring of 2016. Cynthia and her husband Mike moved to South Hero in 1998, after having spent many years living and working out west in Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming and Colorado. They both pursued Biology degrees and spent many amazing years working in Yellowstone National Park and for the US Forest Service in Central Oregon. Moving to Vermont and starting a family, led to career changes.
While raising 3 kids, she worked a variety of part time positions, many involving customer service. She’s happy to be working local, helping Kristin in the office. When not attending her active kids sporting events, she likes to be outside hiking, biking, skiing, kayaking, boating!
Chris is our longest serving technician having been with the company since joining as summer help in 2012.
A graduate of UVM with a BA in history he has always been passionate about doing a thorough job. Having held various titles and responsibilities over his career with PestPro he's well versed in all the areas of pest control we provide.
Geof is a native Vermonter who enjoys hunting, fishing, and to be outside. He is a family man with 3 youngsters at home who he loves to spend time with. He likes to make other people smile and always has a great sense of humor.
He always looks forward to helping you with your pest needs and making your home or business as comfortable as possible!
After graduating from Saint Michael's College in 2017 with a degree in Environmental Studies, Sam joined PestPro in 2019. Since then he's become an expert in all things insect and wildlife.
His hobbies include fishing, hunting, and many other outdoor recreational activities.
Mark takes great pride in his work and delivers effective results with a smile. There's nothing like a job well done.
While not at work, he loves mountain biking, boxing, and just about any outdoor activity. Whether at work or play, Mark jumps into the task with enthusiasm.
Growing up in South Hero, Paul takes great pride and holds a strong work ethic. No matter what situation it is, Paul will handle any of your pest needs.
Some of the activities that Paul enjoys outside of work is landscaping, hiking, skiing, water-sports, and soccer. With a friendly smile and positive attitude, Paul is willing to assist you with any pest needs that you may have.
Bed Bug Detection Dog - Retired
Hailing from Alabama, Jack spent most of his younger years wandering the streets homeless. At the age of 2 he decided to turn his life around. After receiving a full scholarship he attended school in his home state and specialized in Bed Bug Detection. Jack finished top of his class under the tutelage of some of the most elite trainers in the world.
Jack served as Vermont's premier Bed Bug Detection Dog (BBDD) for nearly a decade. He's now enjoying a well earned retirement and spends most of his time sleeping, chasing squeaky toys, and teaching himself to stand on two legs.
